The E. Howard & Co. 95A

The E. Howard & Co. 95A

Today, E. Howard & Company continues production from Howard's plans. As originally, each timepiece is precisely designed, soundly constructed, and beautifully finished. Each is, in a sense, the legacy of Edward Howard, dedicated to a higher sensibility and a fine art.

The standard glasses for the 95A are Perry's Victory. (Left.) We have copies of the letters written by Perry and the other principals in 1813 to send to anyone who is interested in the history of the battle.

Howard and Davis glasses (Below, left and center) are also available in a limited supply.

Now the exciting news. We can make custom glasses for your own limited edition. All our artist needs is a sketch, photograph, or postcard and you input, and you can become the purveyor of North America's finest clock customized for your city or region. Take some elements from the skyline or the dominant geographical feature and some recognizable local artifacts to create heirloom glasses for a clock that will commemorate your region for generations.

An example of the capabilities of our glass artist is shown in the limited edition of the La Crosse, Wisconsin riverboat scene (below, right).

E. Howard Quality

The reverse hand painted throat and lower door glasses are the focal point of this clock. The glass is prepared and goldleaf is applied.

The heart of each clock is the famous Howard movement, sill made to the precise specifications of the Founder's design. The pallets are Rockwell 55 hardened steel, the arbors are made of drill rod and number 1 tool hardened steel.
